MULTI-WAREHOUSE INVENTORY CONTROL

WarehouseOS: Multi-Warehouse Management System for Saudi Arabia

One warehouse or ten. Know exactly where everything is.

Managing one warehouse is easy. Managing five or ten is where stock gets lost: it's "available" in the system but nobody can find it, it's in transit but nobody can say where, and it's sold but nobody knows which serial went out. WarehouseOS gives every unit an exact place (warehouse, zone, aisle, rack, bin, batch and serial number) and records every movement between them. Know what you have. Know exactly where it is.

  • Every warehouse in one view
  • Every unit in its exact bin
  • Batch & serial tracked
  • Every movement recorded
  • Transfers never lost
  • You make the call

Animation: one warehouse becomes three, five, then ten across Saudi Arabia. Inside, a search shows SKU 45821 as available, 14 units, and asks: where? WarehouseOS zooms from Warehouse 03 to Zone B, Aisle 07, Rack 12 and Bin 04, down to serial number SN-028491, then draws that unit's trail: received in Dammam, transferred to Riyadh, picked and dispatched. It zooms back out until all ten warehouses connect to one view.

01THE QUESTIONS

You have the stock. But do you know where it is?

Answer five questions about your warehouses. The meter shows how much could be slipping away every month because stock can't be found, followed or trusted.

SAR lost every month

SAR 57,920
Reconciling stock between warehouses 80 h
SAR 4,000
Searching for stock 520 h
SAR 18,200

SAR 12,000
Expired, damaged and lost stock
SAR 5,000
Orders hit by stock not found 156 orders
SAR 18,720

Illustrative estimate. Your figures will differ.

How we calculate
  • Reconciling = warehouses × hours per warehouse × SAR 50 per hour
  • Searching = orders per day × 26 working days × minutes per order ÷ 60 × SAR 35 per hour
  • Lost transfers = transfers per month × SAR 4,000 average transfer value
  • Write-off = inventory value × % written off per year ÷ 12
  • Stock not found = orders per day × 26 × % hit × SAR 120 per affected order (re-pick, split shipment, delay)

02THE SOLUTION

Warehouse. Zone. Rack. Bin. SKU. Right down to the serial number.

WarehouseOS gives every unit an exact address and records every scan against it. Ask for any item, and it tells you which warehouse, zone, aisle, rack and bin it is in, which batch or serial number it is, and every place it has been.

How WarehouseOS works

  1. 01

    Receive

Goods are scanned at the dock against the PO, with batch, expiry and serial numbers captured.

  2. 02

    Locate

Each unit is put away to an exact bin; WarehouseOS suggests the bin from your putaway rules.

  3. 03

    Record

Every pick, move, count and adjustment is scanned and logged with the user and the time.

  4. 04

    Follow

Transfers between warehouses stay visible in transit until they are received at the other end.

  5. 05

    Alert

Low days of cover, expiring batches, count variances and unconfirmed transfers are flagged.

  6. 06

    You decide

Your team approves transfers, adjustments and write-offs. Every decision is recorded.
